Jeffree Star Cosmetics: Holiday Bundle

It's the most wonderful time of the year. ♥

I love holiday collections. And what do I love more than holiday collections? Jeffree Star Cosmetics holiday collections, that's what. This year's holiday bundle was absolutely no exception to being amazing. Honestly? It has been my favorite bundle to date. ALL. SEVEN. SHADES. Yes, seven shades made it to this year's holiday bundle which currently sells for $99.99 and can be purchased here.

Of course, you know me, I have already done a swatch video on my YouTube channel ( RLQ Rosie). You can watch that video below:

Let's break it down though!

Like I mentioned before, the holiday bundle comes with seven shades ranging from a soft pink nude to a bold crocodile green. I'm serious! Check the pic below.
Left to right: Designer Blood, Checkmate, Pumpkin Pie, Chrysanthemum, Deceased, Sagittarius, and Crocodile Tears.

I can't even pick a favorite at this point I love them all.Let's break them down:
Chrysanthemum is described as "sparkly soft nude has glitter throughout" and is a limited edition shade with the collection. Honestly I was not sure I'd love this shade. I was almost worried it would be too soft and pale for me but I LOVE IT.

Pumpkin Pie (which I call Pumpkin Spice in my video what feels like a million times) is an amazing burnt orange that I cannot get enough of. It is the perfect ever day shade honestly. One of my favorites from the collection.

Checkmate is ridiculous! I wasn't sure if I would be too wild about this shade but it was so bold and amazing when I put it on that I didn't want to take it off! I ended up wearing the next night to work. It made me feel sassy af. Might also be giving Redrum a run for its money in my collection.

Designer Blood. There are no words for how gorgeous this shade is. Like Game Over gorgeous. It's a deeper Unicorn Blood with the tiniest specks of glitter that make the shade so unique and stunning. It's really a must to your collection.

Deceased (currently sold out at the moment) is the mauve greige of the collection. It reminds me of a softer Scorpio, but then again, so does Sagittarius. This is probably the most sought after shade, but to be honest it might be a little to muted for me even though I do love it!

Sagittarius (spelled wrong in my video. OOPS) is a more purple version of Deceased and Scorpio. Less grey undertones. It's such a great shade and described as the "hybrid of mixing nude with mauve."

Last but not least Crocodile Tears! The most wearable green in my collection. I am so in love with this shade it is almost ridiculous. Definitely one to try if you're looking to be more adventurous. It's seriously amazing.

So what do you think? Gorgeous right!?! I'm in love with every shade. The bundle is still available as well as individually sold AND smaller bundles. Highly recommend you check them out. :))

Influenster Kat Von D #LockItRevolution

So here's the scoop, a couple of months ago I was offered the survey to get on the list for the Kat Von D's Influenster Vox Box, so of course, I took it. I had no idea what it was for or if I was approved until a couple of weeks ago. The campaign was for the latest "Lock it Revolution."

If you're familiar with Kat Von D products then the phrase "lock it" should not phase you. The infamous Lock It Foundation has been around for quite awhile. It's very well known for it's full coverage and the latest concealers are NO exception. If we're being honest, I didn't use the old Lock It Tattoo concealers. A small part had to do with its packaging, another had to do with my preference for a more affordable concealer. But let's move past that.

So here I am receiving the Kat Von D Lock It Revolution VoxBox not knowing what to expect. Actually, I expected the concealers. Just two concealers. Typically, Influenster sends out two to three of a brands collection for you to review and test. What I wasn't expecting was 90% of the latest collection. Boy was I in shock.

I received two concealers, one light in L9 and one warm in M17, the Lock It Setting Powder, the Lock It Setting Powder Brush, and the Concealer brush. I was more than excited for it all!

So let's talk concealers. If you know me, you know my go to concealer is the NYX concealer pot in yellow. Affordable and amazingly pigmented. When I received the Kat Von D concealers, I was secretly hoping not to love it as much as I did (solely for the sake of my wallet) but alas, I was in for an immediate admiration. These sell for $26 each.

The two shades I received were L9 which is described as light with neutral undertone and M17 which is described as medium with warm undertone. M17 is my new favorite. It's warm undertones work so well with the yellow in my skin! Absolutely LOVE it. The L9 is ideal for days I want to brighten my under eyes since the neutral tone cancels out the darkness under my eyes. It's necessary often.

As you can see from the swatches, they're very different in shades light is definitely light! I did feel when I swatched them on my arm L9 didn't appear as pigmented as on the face. That could be because my arm is much darker than my face....I'm not too sure. They're lightweight and buildable so you don't have to worry about it looking cakey or heavy under the eyes. And trust me when I say, they're soooooo blendable! I'm was so very happy when I went in with my beauty blender and saw they blended out so well without losing pigment intensity. That's uber important to me, don't you agree?

And then we add the concealer brush to the equation.

Personally, I'm not a fan of brushes for blending concealer, but this one isn't bad at all! I still reach for my beauty blender to blend out my concealer though, it's a habit! I think the denseness of the smaller head make it favorable for some people when it comes to blending concealer, but it's definitely personal preference. This particular brush sells for $24. I think brush is great for application and even from some lid work. ;)

Now we get to my favorites from the collection. <333333

The Lock It Setting Powder. Three words: I. AM. OBSESSED. This powder is amazing. Again, if you know me, you might know my go to is another NYX product which is the color correcting powder in yellow. This new KVD might have replaced it. This one does sell for $30 which is fairly decent compared to some of the other "high end" setting powders.  What I love most about this powder is how friggen light it is on the face. Seriously, I strongly dislike the feel of silky setting powders. I know to each their own, but I just can't do it. It feels too heavy on the face. This one is sooooo not heavy. It's light AF. It blends out so well too!

Now the brush? Oh my lanta. It's SO FLUFFYYYYY. No, but seriously, the bristles are so amazingly soft and pick up so much product. It is my second favorite item. The stiletto wand handle just gets me. This brush does sell for $38 which may not be the most affordable, but it is only slightly above average for the quality. I'm obsessed with it though. I won't use my setting powder without it.  Paired together they're meant for eachother.

I'm sure you're all now wondering, how the heck do I get me one of those boxes!?! It all starts with YOU. Influenster uses YOUR influence and YOUR social impact and YOUR lifestyle to qualify you for campaigns to receive Vox Boxes. Frequently they send out surveys for campaigns they think will best suit you. To be honest, there's been times I was so sure I'd qualify and they'd deny me. *sad face* It's understandable though. What I find most appealing about the program is the variety of campaigns you can be eligible for. Cosmetics, food, home goods, health, fitness, you name it. Prior to this campaign I received the Make Me Brows Vox Box. I was VERY happy with that one too.

How do they determine what campaign would best suit you? Your impact. You can answer "snap" questions they send to your dashboard or review almost any product you can think of from energy drinks to lipsticks to running shoes. Each time you review a product it goes towards your impact score. The higher the impact score, the better, naturally. What else affects your impact score? Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Blogger, Tumblr, Pinterest, and even Foursquare. If you have a small number on one social network, there's always another. LINK. THEM. ALL. :)))))

Still want more information? Go here and do your thing! You won't regret it. Just give honest reviews and share your love for what you love and you're all set.

Feel free to comment below with any questions you might have.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics: The Others

Damn, Rosie! Back at it again with the Jeffree Star swatches.

Yes, I went there. Let's just forget I did though and move on. Now that I have your attention we can talk about my last video of Jeffree Star velour liquid lipstick swatches. Scratch that, second to last, video of swatches. I seem to forget I received the two newest shades in addition to my Skin Frosts and Beauty Killer palette. I threw that all in one [extremely] long video. We'll get to that video eventually.

Today's focus: The Others. By others I'm referring to the shades that didn't quite fit in with pastels or darks and aren't my favorites. Not that I don't love these shades because TRUST ME WHEN I SAY I LOVE THESE SHADES. I mean, Unicorn Blood...... um yea. Definitely love that shade. And Rich Blood soared to the top of my top ten list of Jeffree Star favorite shades. Keep in mind, when I recorded this video Rich Blood had just been released. That particular shade was a replacement for the holiday limited edition shade "Hoe Hoe Hoe" which is also swatched in this video. Have a look below.

I'd like to think by this point I'm getting a bit more comfortable in front of the camera. I never thought I'd get past the insecurities that kept me from recording last fall, but I'm glad I'm making progress. Huge thank you to those who've seen me struggle with it and continue to encourage and support me! ♥

Do you ever forget a lippie for awhile and then one day you rediscover it and you're like "OMFG! I'm obsessed. Where have you been all my life?!" That was me swatching this segment of my series. Prom Night was like heaven on me and I was sad when I took it off. And don't even get me started on Unicorn Blood.

Is it weird that I was a little sad knowing these were the last from my collection? Okay good because I was a little sad. I am now counting down the days until the summer collection goes live! 12 days. ;)

Next post we'll recap the Beauty Killer and Skin Frost video!

Lonely Planet Cosmetics Swatch and Review LIVE

Hi, friends!
Welcome back! If you're a returning reader then you have probably already seen swatches of my Lonely Planet collection here. HOWEVER, you may have not seen LIVE swatches. Yes, that is correct. LIVE swatches. That, of course, is just my fancy, interesting way of saying I did a YouTube video swatching them. I purchased three of the newest shades and I quickly fell so much in love that I was dying to swatch them. Check them out below.
Also, you will notice in the video an updated (almost the exact same) review. My opinion has still not changed. I am STILL loving these liquid lipsticks! And the new shades are amazing. I have quite a few on my wish list that I can't wait to add to my collection. If you haven't tried these yet, you must! One of the best indie brands I've been fortunate enough to review.
I will post screenshots from my video below. I'm hoping to get better from here with my swatch videos, but it's definitely exciting seeing myself grow as a "said YouTuber."

I know it's been a while since my last post, but as some of you know, June is a very busy month for me! I was only able to get a couple videos out that month, one of which was my hiking vlog. I hope to get a quick recap post for that one up here soon as well. Keep an eye out for more posts with each YouTube video that goes live on my channel here.

Next post will recap the last of my Jeffree Star liquid lipstick collection!

Jeffree Star Cosmetics: The Dark Side

Oh wow.

That title makes this post sound juicy. Like it's full of dirty dark secrets. Except not. If you read my previous post, you're probably expecting this. Previously, I posted a brief breakdown of what I've been up to in the YouTube world (yes, I crossed over) and where I was currently. And right now I am in the middle of my mini "Jeffree Star Series" on YouTube. I've swatched my current favorites and the pastels from the collection and now I present to you "The Darks."

Which shades are included in the darks? I'll tell you. We have Weirdo, Abused, Blue Velvet, I'm Royalty, Mistletoe, and Dirty Money. You're probably asking, "What the hell? Why Dirty Money?" seeing as how it's technically not a dark shade. The way I saw it when I thought out this series was where it would fit best. The remaining shades left to swatch were reds and browns and pinks so I really didn't think a dirty grey green would fit in with them. Agreed?

Now you ask, "What's next?"

Coming up I have two more videos in this mini series until the limited edition yellow packaging shades are released this summer. If you don't know what the heck I'm talking about, check out Jeffree Star Cosmetics' post here below.

Watermelon scented.....AREYOUKIDDINGMERIGHTNOWIDIE!?!?! Perfect. Actual perfection. Little known fact, watermelon is my guilty post run pleasure. After my runs in the miserable summer heat, I take my sweaty ass to the grocery store and pick up watermelon spears. Mmmm. Anyway! Before these are released you can expect a video on the lipstick shades remaining in the collection and the new highlighters and BEAUTY KILLER PALETTE swatch video. OMFG. Oops. I got a little too excited at the thought of that palette. Forreals though. I'm more excited than any of my viewers possibly can be. Maybe...

So that's it for now! Until then, you can watch the video linked above and all the videos from before on my channel here or read up on my thoughts and experiences on this YouTube journey here. :)))))

Don't forget you can find me almost everywhere socially:

It finally happened.

Quick update time!

So as you've probably noticed, I have been extremely MIA in the blogging world. However, it has been for good reason! I've actually launched my YouTube channel and uploaded my first, second, third, and FOURTH YouTube videos. I published my first video after returning from GenBeauty in LA. I was just so inspired and I used some of the footage I recorded and used during the trip to turn it into a mini vlog. My "mini" vlog ended up being over 20 minutes long as I proceeded to dive into my favorites from the trip. Honestly,  it was an amazing eye opening experience. And while I'm still very lazy and busy in most parts of my life these days, I think I've finally found my place.

Check out my very first YouTube video below. Then keep reading.

I followed up my first video with a quick trailer for my channel. I won't link it here, but once you access my YouTube channel homepage it will appear at the bottom. Check out my
homepage below. :))))))

So finally after about two+ months of ideas floating around in my head and my lack of commitment dominating me, I decided to take advantage of the new Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip collection being released.

It was my first swatch video and I was beyonddddddddd nervous recording it. To be honest, I had no idea what I was doing. Just put on lipstick on camera, right? It felt like so much more than that. I think I overthought it. And that is perfectly okay because it was my first video and I received such positive feedback it made me thankful for those who support me! Just recently I rewatched that video and thought, "Oh....Rosie." and shook my head. It's been a month and I've already seen myself improve since this video. You can see that video below.

Flash forward to last weekend, I found my motivation again. With the new Jeffree Star lipsticks in my possession, I decided to record a "Jeffree Star Favorites" video featuring the two newest shades "Gemini" and "Scorpio."
L-R: Celebrity Skin, Gemini, Anna Nicole, Redrum, Androgyny, Doll Parts, Masochist, Scorpio
Soooooo here's the thing. This I feel like overcame a lot of obstacles with myself because of this video. It really gave me the boost of confidence I needed to know what I am doing with my YouTube channel is right. Does that make sense? I recorded the video Saturday before I left out of town for my Bloomsday Run and I didn't even bother to watch the footage. I didn't want to leave town upset if I didn't love my footage, ya know? I just let it be. ♫ Whispered words of wisdom, let it be. ♫♪ I left town with Jessy and we enjoyed the weekend and I didn't die on my run (considering I had ver veryyyy little training) which was a good thing.

Hi. It's me after my 3rd Bloomsday Run.
Come Monday after work, a little too sore to workout after all of Bloomsday's hills, and I decided to view and edit my footage. I went in with low expectations, but watching myself I was super content with myself. It was footage I was excited to edit and post. I was very pleased with the outcome. I saw places I could improve and made a mental note for the next video. Wednesday I posted my second swatch video ever. Featured in this video I swatched Celebrity Skin, Gemini, Anna Nicole, Redrum, Androgyny, Doll Parts, Masochist, Scorpio. Want to see them swatched? Check out the video below.

So with my excitement over the first Jeffree Star video, I threw out the idea of doing a second swatch video. A "Jeffree Star Series" with the pastels or darks or nudes, whatever my viewers requested. I posted this photo on Instagram, Twitter, and snapchat asking what to swatch next, pastels or darks.

Pastels won by a landslide. Aka 4 votes to zero. So pastels it was.

L-R: Drug Lord, I'm Nude, 714, Queen Supreme, Blow Pony, Jawbreaker, Breakfast at Tiffany's
I went in this last Saturday with the mindset "I can do this" and started recording. Halfway through my swatches and my battery started dying and my backup wasn't fully charged. I spent a brief intermission talking to my Snapchat story friends. I was actually excited to share that I was recording which is weird to me, but I really was happy I was recording. I felt confident and determined to execute something I was 100% happy with. And honestly? I was. Video went up the next day, Sunday night. Check it out below.

Since posting my first video at the end of January, I've reached my 100 subscribers milestone! PEOPLES, THIS IS HUGE TO ME. I know it's not a lot to most people, but for someone who lacked the confidence to commit to putting themselves out there, it's so much more. Trust me, even though I try to  come off as confident, this YouTube thing is testing your confidence on a whole 'nother level. I remember after trying to record myself and watching my first playback, I cried. Fun fact.

I can't wait to look back in another six months and see where I'm at. On the positive side, I only see myself getting better. Amirite? ❤️

Mac Retro Matte liquid lipstick.

Say it isn't so. Can I actually love a liquid lipstick as much or just a tad bit more than Jeffree Star cosmetics? Egad. The answer is yes and no. As far as variety of shades and perfection of shades, no other brand comes close to Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks.

HOWEVER, if we are talking minor details then I would have to say the new Mac retro matte liquid lipsticks are pulling at the strings of my heart...HARD. Crazy right? AT the end of the year (12/ 28) the new Mac retro matte liquid lipsticks released and before I jumped the gun and bought multiple shades I decided to just buy one. I went with Oh, Lady. After falling in love with the pigmentation, texture, smell, formula, and applicator... I soon added 3 more to my collection.

I'm a huge fan of the traditional Mac caps. Don't fix what isn't broken, right? I love being able to identify a brand or collection by its look.

L-R: Feels so Grand, Back in Vogue, Tailored to Tease, and Oh, Lady.
When I decided which shades to go with I wanted a variety of shades that could give people a general idea of their quality. I had my eye on High Drama but after swatching it in person I decided against it. It was very streaky and I didn't think I'd reach for it as often as I'd like. I know I've mentioned this before, but i really do go for shades I realistically see myself wearing. This is the reason I don't own most complete collections aside from Jeffree Star.

Aside from the perfectly clean and classic packaging, the wand applicators really really got me. I own about 15 different brands of liquid lipstick and Mac has been the first to come out with a triangular shaped applicator. Or am I crazy? I'm more than positive I don't recall any other triangular shaped applicator amongst my collection. This doesn't mean there aren't any, but it does mean I don't own any.

Doe applicators l-r: Feels so Grand, Back in Vogue, Tailored to Tease, Oh, Lady.
Do you see what I see? The triangular tip is soo good for precision. It fits in perfectly with your Cupid's Bow and runs along the lip perfectly to your outer edges. If you're anything like me, you will GREATLY appreciate this applicator. Let's be honest, I suuuuuck at lining up my lips without a lip brush or occasionally [excessive amounts of] concealer to clean it up. I now wish every liquid lipstick came with this applicator.

But let's move on to these shades. First up is actually the last one I purchased. "Feels so Grand" is the prettiest red of the three red(ish) shades they offer. This has to be closest to a true red. It reminds me ALMOST of Jeffree Star's RedRum. Almost.

Swatched in natural light.
Next up, Back in Vogue. First impression of the shade? Bleh. Not as cute swatched as I thought. It was too peach for me. When I saw it swatched on Karen (Makeup and Beauty Blog) I was practically drooling. I regretted it after I swatched it for the first time. I wished I had purchased Lady Be Good instead. Little did I know, there must be some magic in this lipstick because once I tried it on last week I was in looooove. Heart eyes times infinity. It's like the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants in lipstick form because I also had my coworker (who is a completely different skin tone than me) try it on and I loved it just as much on her as I did me! She looked stunning in it. This shade is so versatile and the perfect nude peach for several skin tones, in my opinion.

Swatched in natural light.

The third shade I purchased *pause as my tummy fills with butterflies only a new lipstick can bring* was Tailored to Tease. Ugggggggh. This shade. Good lawd, have mercy on our lipstick loving souls. Perfect pink fuchsia. In fact, the day I wore it to wore I very awkwardly thought aloud "I FREAKING LOVE THIS LIPSTICK" which caused my coworker AND director to pause to admire it as well.

Trying to not get off track here, but a short story to go with this. I passed by the office of a fellow lipstick lover in my building at work and noticed she was wearing the exact same shade of lipstick as me. Since we have pretty dang close skin tones, I couldn't help but ask if she was wearing the new Tailored to Tease. She wasn't sure so she reached for her purse and pulled out the lipstick she was wearing. It was the retro matte traditional lipstick tube of Flat Out Fabulous. THEY'RE TWINS. It all made sense because my Flat Out Fabulous lippie is pretty flat from all the use it's gotten.

So if any of you own Flat Out Fabulous and love it but wish it wasn't so difficult to apply (y'all know Mac mattes can be pain in the asses) then I would DEFINITELY suggest Tailored to Tease.

Swatched in natural light.
Last, but not least, Oh, Lady. As I mentioned before, Oh, Lady was the first of the four I purchased. Regarding the formula, I was quickly impressed. If you follow me on Snapchat, you might know I wore it twice in one week after I received it. I'm not kidding, I was/am obsessed with this formula.

"Oh, Lady" is described as a deep wine shade. I would somewhat agree, but when I think of wine I think burgundy red....which doesn't describe Oh, Lady to me. It's more on the plum side to me. PLUM burgundy. That's how I would describe it if we are nit-picking. It didn't apply streaky like I expected with a darker shade. This is a BIGTIME bonus. However, the day I swatched them for this blog it wasn't cooperating with me on the lips. I don't know if it was because it was the last shade I swatched on my lips or what, but it was frustrating and not at all an accurate representation of the shade compared to the other days. Seriously though, I'm in love with this color. Had I not purchased Tailored to Tease, this would have remained my favorite for-ev-errrr.

Swatched in natural light.
As you can see, the shades translate well from the tubes. What you see is what you get for the most part. This is rare with liquid lipsticks. Often times they're darker swatched out of the tube. Not in this case.

Top to bottom: Oh, Lady, Tailored to Tease, Back in Vogue, Feels so Grand in natural light.

If you love Mac, which I do, then you'll love these. Bottom line. They smell just like vanilla cupcakes as usual.

Natural light iPhone camera.
The best part about these new lippies? They're permanent. No need to worry about them selling out forever and ever. No need to break the bank all at once trying to buy the collection. And let's be real, if you're like me, you probably won't want them all. Some shades on quite turned off by, pero such is life.

Taken with low res Snapchat camera in natural light.
From the tube to the arm to the lips, the colors stay winning. They're gorgeous. I don't dislike any of the four I own which I don't always say. Generally speaking, there are times I have at least one shade I am "meh" about. I see myself reaching for each of these multiple times from here on. The formula is amazing. You don't have to worry about them transferring like the soft mattes that people tend to hype up. Be smart though, don't assume you can eat a greasy chorizo burrito and not have the lipstick get out of whack. (Totally  not saying I did....)

Clockwise from top left: Tailored to Tease, Feels so Grand, Oh, Lady, and Back in Vogue.

Final thoughts:
Smell: 10/10
Application: 10/10
Shades: 7/10
Wear: 10/10
Pigmentation: 9/10

What do you think? Do you own any? TELL ME! I wanna know.

Velour lip scrubs.

First blog post of 2016! Woot. And it'll be a quick one. I have 3 others started but I'm not done yet. DON'T JUDGE ME, I'M LAZY.

Actually, that couldn't be further from the truth. I've been super into my running lately. I really want to bring the running back to "Running Lipstick Queen." Lipstick game? Strong. Running game? Ummm moving on. But seriously, I've legitimately failed my last three goals and that's so unlike me. So I've set a long term goal for myself. 2000 miles on my Nike+ by the end of the year. 2017. That's 1050 miles. Or 86ish miles per month. Or 20ish miles per week. Or about 3 miles a day. TOTALLY DOABLE. Especially for someone who was running over 100 miles a month once upon a time.....

Moving on. Sorry I lost my focus.

The Jeffree Star Velour lip scrubs. These are avilable online on Jeffree Stars Cosmetics website, Beautylish, and MORPHE for $12 a piece. $12 for a lip scrub? A steal considering the Fresh Sugar Lip Polish I was using is $24.... And honestly I'm LOVING Jeffree Star's much more. No, I'm not just saying this because I love Jeffree Star Cosmetics. -_- The Jeffree Stars come in 4 flavors at the moment, which include Spearmint, Mojito, Strawberry Gum, and Root Beer.  I only picked up three.

So I've been using these for just over two weeks and they're game changers. Every night before bed I exfoliate my lips and apply some type of lip mask or Chapstick. This is the same routine I had with my Fresh Sugar Lip Polish, but with better results. AND THEY TASTE BETTER. And smell better. I'm addicted.

First up, I bought Spearmint. These lip scrubs come in the cutest pink containers which perfectly match the Velour liquid lipsticks. Do you see this!?

I'm going to be honest, I love anything mint so this could be me being a tad bit biased. But really, you NEED this one. If you decide to only buy one and only one (you're silly and I dunno why you'd only buy one), then I'd suggest you go with this one.

Next flavor, Strawberry Gum. How perfect is this? Tastes like Strawberry Gum and smells like strawberry gum. This one should come with a a warning. Like, WARNING: PLEASE DO NOT USE IF YOU LOVE SUGAR AND SWEETS. Seriously though, I try to stay away from this one because I can't control my temptation to accidentally over scrub and lick my lips too much. Accidentally being the key word.

The last one I picked up is actually one of my favorites, Mojito. The first being Spearmint, OF COURSE.

As you can tell from the photo above, I use this one quite often. I don't know what it is with me and Play-doh, but this one smells like Play-doh which I love! I'm addicted to this scent. If you recall in my Lonely Planet Cosmetics review here, these lippies also have the Play-Doh scent which makes them that much more amazing. Back to Mojito, I could be wrong but that's what it smells like to me. Do you own it? If so, let me know what you think it smells like!

Lastly, in case anyone was curious, I decided to share what my current fave products I use to follow my lip scrubs with.

Both of these products I received with a subscription box. The first I don't use as often except when I feel I need to really condition my lips before bed, this being the Julep Luxe Lip conditioning treatment. If you know me, you know I hate glosses but I lovvvvve this one as a night mask for my lips after a heavy exfoliating. This product was sent with one of my Julep monthly boxes. It sells for $24 regularly.

Second, is the Chapstick Dual-ended hydration lock day and night. I received this one with my winter Walmart subscription box. I'm obsessed. I love Chapstick, but this one is 2 for the price of one and serves a purpose. It retails for $3.29 and I will most definitely buy again. Before bed, almost every night, I'll exfoliate with the Jeffree Star Velour lip scrubs and use the night treatment afterwards. I've been loving my lips lately. My lipstick has been lasting long, my lips don't dry out as often throughout the day, and my lips feel overall healthier since being treated properly.

Don't get me wrong, I've always been a consistent exfoliator. However, these lip scrubs have made the process much more enjoyable, tastier, and with better results. Do I recommend? YES. 1000 times yes.

It even comes wth a reminder to not substitute this product for a meal. Thankful for this because I have never been more tempted to just sit and scrub and lick my lips until my lip scrub was gone....oops.

So that's it! 10/10 all around. Smell, packaging, taste, size, price point, and over all product performance. Bravo, AGAIN Jeffree Star Cosmetics.

PS. Should I review the new Mac retro mattes or long overdue Black Moon Cosmetics? Let me know!
